When I asked my girlfriend if she had any ideas what she wanted for Christmas this year I was so disappointed when she said a handbag! For a start, from what I could tell she already had dozens of the things, and on top of that I didn’t have the first clue about buying one! She seemed pretty determined that that was what she wanted though, and who was I to argue. My girlfriend compares hand bags to albums, and she says that you can’t have too many! So, had bags it was then!

I started off by having a look round our local town, but I have to say that I couldn’t find anything that I thought looked remotely nice. I had spent a god twenty minutes looking through her collection if hand bags at home to make sure I didn’t get her anything too similar, and I have to say that all of hers at home were nicer than any I had seen online.

I decided instead to have a look online in the hope that I would be able to find her something a little bit different. I came across a site called Very.co.uk almost as soon as I started to browse and they seemed to have a great selection of bags. I loved the look of one in particular, and I decided to throw caution to the wind and order it. I saw that the site offered a free returns policy so at least even if she hated it, she would be able to choose something for herself in the end. Of course when I gave her the bag she was thrilled. She said it was absolutely the sort of bag she wanted, and she wanted to know where I got it from. I reluctantly told her. I knew that once she got herself on that site there would be no holding her back!
